Our approach to treatment is thorough and client-centred. Here’s what you can expect:
Initial Assessment: We start by taking a detailed history and discussing your presenting concerns. This information guides the selection of the most suitable psychological intervention with the highest evidence base for your treatment.
Getting to Know You: During the assessment, we’ll spend up to 90 minutes getting to know you in a comfortable and supportive environment.
Tailored Intervention: Together, we’ll agree on your goals and what you want to work on, ensuring that your therapy is uniquely designed for you.
Ongoing Work: Subsequent sessions will last up to an hour, during which we will co-create an understanding of the difficulties you’re experiencing. This ongoing work will inform your personalised treatment plan.
Duration: A brief period of therapy typically consists of about 6 sessions, but many clients find value in continuing for 12 sessions or more. It’s up to you; we’re here to support you for as long as you need.
